Greenwashing: Action and reaction.

Greenwashing is typically defined as any attempt to signal sustainability value without scientific proof is greenwashing. In some cases, it’s being done by smaller companies that simply don’t know any better. But in many cases, it’s being performed by those that should and  the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) proposed new climate-related disclosure requirements for public companies. Proposed rule amendments require public companies to provide certain climate-related financial data, and greenhouse gas emissions insights, in public disclosure filings.
