Closing the Year with a big win for sustainable packaging.

We are making incredible strides toward sustainability with our supplier partner - Pura Barutama Corrugated Box. Nestled in Central Java, Indonesia and a major supplier of printed packaging, Pura Barutama has been on an amazing journey toward a coal-free future in Y2023. 

Pura box has made history, becoming the very first packaging supplier to achieve a complete coal phase-out in Indonesia. They've converted a coal-fired boiler to an energy generation system that uses biomass made from palm shells. Since Oct 2023, Pura has switched entirely to biomass, which now constitutes 100% of their boiler fuel consumption. This shift marks a groundbreaking leap toward sustainability by replacing over 3,500 tons of coal by this year alone. This commitment is a testament to Pura’s dedication to a greener future. Amazing work, team! 

In celebration of the amazing work accomplished, our YFYJupiter team in Indonesia held an award ceremony to celebrate the milestones and achievements with our supplier, Pura Barutama and our valued customer, adidas. More than just a milestone; it’s evidence of the collective strength, vision and collaborative partnerships we create through packaging. Together, we are breaking boundaries and demonstrating that #ImpossibleIsNothing.
