Co-op overhauls food packaging.

In a bid to make food packaging as sustainable as possible, the Co-op is significantly reducing the amount of packaging on its food-to-go products. By reducing packaging and removing all single-use plastic cutlery in favor of wooden sporks, the retailer said approximately 274 tonnes of unnecessary plastic, cardboard and film will be removed from its stores.
