Persevering in Texas

From one of our teammates in Texas on what they encountered from 3 days without power and freezing temperatures.
"I have not slept much, getting up every hour in the night to check the water faucets to make sure they are all still dripping. I have been slowly feeding the fireplace and running the portable propane heater and maintaining the generator that has been powering 1 space heater and the fridge, I have already used around 7 gallons of gasoline on that thing. We have been much more fortunate than others that do not have fireplaces, wood, gas heaters and such. We have cooked on a single burner camp stove and grilled outside in the arctic cold."
