Gunrz new brand creation: Foster + Baylis have partnered client Obvious Products to develop and launch Gunrz, a new drinks brand for the growing non-alcoholic cocktails market. Gunrz is a modern twist on the classic cocktail, the Gunner, which in recent years has become a favourite cocktail that’s mixed at golf clubs around the world. Tapping into the growing desire for non-alcoholic cocktails, our client saw the opportunity to create a ready-mixed version for launching into sports and golf clubs and beyond into bars and nightclubs. We worked in partnership with Obvious Products to fine tune the recipe and generate a fresh new name to give this classic cocktail a modern day twist, creating a distinctive design that features a contemporary expression of a golf themed pattern. Input from JPG Print Technical Manager Darren Smith throughout the project was key to ensuring that our original design vision became the final reality on the printed cans. Within 3 months of launch the brand was listed by David Lloyd Health clubs in the UK and numerous prestigious golf clubs throughout Europe and we are now working with Obvious Products to target the grocery sector.
